Nov. 7, 2010 - Nealy's Baptism
Oct. 2, 2010 - Eckert's Farm
This is our only picture available for the day. We went out to eat with a few families in the group at a local Cantonese restaurant. This is Nealy engaged in one of her favorite activities -- sticking her tongue out. We went to Shamian Island to have Nealy's visa photo taken and have her medical exam completed. We did take some pictures but there was no memory stick in the camera and we did not bring the cable to get the pictures off of the camera's internal memory. So, this picture at dinner will have to do. We now know Nealy's official weight, 14.1 lbs and everything checked out ok for us. Nealy absolutely hated having her ears checked, but really who doesn't hate having the cold metal thing stuck in their ears. We also visited the famous White Swan Hotel, which is very nice. We will be back at the island throughout the week, since this is where the US Consulate is located, and it's a good thing because it looks like a lot of good shopping. Guangzhou is a very nice and very western city. More tomorrow...
