Yeah! We have full access to update our website and email! 8/13 4:25pm (8/13 3:25am CDT) 37 hours after wheels up in St. Louis, we arrived at our hotel in Beijing. We're totally exhausted not planning on doing much tonight. Tomorrow we're going to Tian An Men Square, the Forbidden City and then the Great Wall. Big parts of the Forbidden City were closed for pre-Olympic renovation when we were here in 2007 so we're looking forward to seeing what we missed. We're hoping to go to the Wang Fu Jing area in the evening for dinner, but will need to rest up for a morning flight to Nanchang and "Gotcha Day!"

I think the current weather conditions are "sunny", but with the pollution and haze, I don't think there's more than a half mile visibility. Here's the view from our room...
